Howard F. Sloan

Howard F. Sloan, 68, of Mesopotamia; formerly of Warren, died Friday, December 25, 2009 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born April 22, 1941 in Mecca, the son of Milburn and Edith (Schooley) Sloan.

Mr. Sloan was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the Navy from December 31, 1966 to September 28, 1967, when he was honorably discharged.

Surviving are his two brothers and a sister.

Services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Hillside Cemetery in Bazetta, with Rev. Rick Oaks officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery will follow.
