Helen A. Sutton

Helen P. Sutton, 92, of Cortland, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Cortland Quality Care. She was born November 21, 1915 in Helvetia, West Virginia, the daughter of Herman and Babette (Kolar) Schneider.

Helen attended Pickens High School and went on to become a school teacher for Randolph County Schools in West Virginia. She was also a member of Pythian Sisters and was a member of Helvetia Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Edward A. Sutton; a daughter, Barbara (Sutton) Waggoner of Cortland; two sons, George E. Sutton of Mechanicsville, VA and David H. Sutton of Webster NH.; she is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Fowler Community Church, 4665 Wilson Sharpsville Rd, Fowler, Ohio 44418 with Rev. Dan Cale and Rev. Joel Dickson officiating. Interment will follow at Dugan Cemetery in Fowler Township, Cortland, Ohio. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Ave, Warren, Ohio 44481.
