Helen Hiryok

WARREN--Helen Hiryok, 94, of Warren, died Sunday morning, October 1, 2006, at Horizon Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident since April.

She was born November 24th, 1911, in Hawk Run, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Luca & Ellen (Kizak) Pirow (Piruch).

Helen was a homemaker and had retired from Hills Department Stores. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her grandchildren Mrs. Jennifer Reese of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Jason Vingle of Warren, and by her great-grandchildren Rachel and Mallory Reese of Jacksonville, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hiryok, her siblings George, Mary, Susanna, John, Anna, Michael, Joseph and Andrew, and by her daughter Kathleen Vingle.
