Helen C. Burns

Helen C. Burns, 89, died 1:40 AM Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Cortland Healthcare Center. She was born Friday, April 23, 1915 in Warren, the daughter of the late Andrew and Julianna Varhola Lucas.

Mrs. Burns was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and had attended St. Mary's Catholic Church. She had been a member of various bowling leagues and enjoyed knitting and gardening.

Surviving Mrs. Burns are her son, Patrick M. Burns of Cortland; a granddaughter, Holly (Michael) Ceci of Liberty; and a brother, Andrew Lucas of Warren.

Preceding Mrs. Burns in death are her parents; her husband, Patrick J. Burns, whom she married September 25, 1943 and who died June 3, 1980; two sisters, Margaret Runtas and Mary Roman; and a brother, Michael Lucas.

Private services will be held. Material contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 232 Seneca Ave. N.E., Warren, Ohio 44481.
