Helen Virginia Ankrom

Warren, OH - Helen V. Ankrom, age 85, died peacefully on March 20, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 6, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA., and was the daughter of Charles and Otillia Parson.

She graduated from Bentwood High School in PA and worked at Heinz Company until she married Harry Redmond when she then became a housewife and mother. Helen enjoyed reading books, traveling, going out to dinner, and being with her family.

Memories of her will be shared by daughters; Judy (Arthur) Leeworthy of Warren, Cathie Walton, whom Helen lived with and Cathie took care of her for many years, daughter; Shirley (Clyde) Altman of Orwell, and a son; Harry Redmond, Jr. of Warren, a sister-in-law; Sherry Walton of Warren. She also leaves behind, 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, four husbands; Harry Redmond, Raymond Walton, Jr., Hank Ilie, and Charles Ankrom whom she was married to for 23 years. Also a daughter; Patricia Hufford, son; Raymond Walton, Jr., and 1 great-great grandchild.

Cremation has taken place.
