Hazel A. Dungan, 69, of Warren, died 1:43 PM Friday, October 27, 2006 at Washington Square Healthcare Center in Warren. She was born January 17, 1937 in Cleveland, the daughter of Andrew and Veronica Polumsky, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1959.
Mrs. Dungan was a graduate of St. Procop High School in Cleveland and worked for 16 years on the assembly line at Packard Electric. She enjoyed dancing, going to restaurants, traveling, and was a nanny for twin boys for the past thirteen years.
Surviving are her son, Robert A. McAuley of Bremerton, Wash.; her daughter, Laura A. Purvis of Tampa, Fla.; two step-sons: James Dungan of Cleveland and Thomas Dungan of Orwell; two step-daughters: Barbara Dungan of Orwell and Cindy Dungan of Largo, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her most special companion, Harold Fee of Champion. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, F. Sterling Dungan, whom she married September 17, 1974 and who died January 1, 1990; and five brothers and sisters.
Services will be 7:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with the family conducting the service. Friends may call 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
