Harriette R. Grimes

Harriette R. Grimes, 67, of Lordstown, died Monday, May 15, 2006 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born May 29, 1938 in Hyattsville, Maryland, the daughter of Wayne C. and Marie A. Chase Read, and first moved to Trumbull County in 1969.

Harriette had worked for Sears at both Southern Park and Salem, serving as department manager in Salem. She had been active in the Trumbull County Kennel Club in the 1970s, and had been a costumer for community theater in Maryland.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Marie Grimes Moore of Bowie, Md., and Gary (Nancy) Grimes of Newton Falls; six grandchildren: Neil and Jamie Grimes, Kelsey and Thomas Moore, Daniel Grimes and Sarah Grimes Currence; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Alexander; a sister, Rebecca Pyles of Knoxville, Md., and a brother. Preceding her in death are her parents; a son, Wayne Grimes; a daughter, Elaine Grimes; and a sister, Carolyn Sartain.
