Gwendolyn "Gwen" Fox

Warren, Ohio - Gwendolyn "Gwen" K. Fox, 79, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Albert and Helen Cox Demchak.

Gwen graduated from Columbus North High School and The Ohio State University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She married her college sweetheart John F. Fox in a military ceremony at Ft. Benning, Georgia, on June 21 1958 and would have celebrated their 58th Anniversary in 2016. Gwen enjoyed her many friends and caring for her home and family. She was a long time member of the Warren Garden Club, Trumbull Country Club and the United Methodist Church.

Memories of Gwen will be carried on by her husband, John F. Fox of Warren, OH, son, Andrew (Kathleen) Fox of Cranberry Township, PA, son-in-law, Jeffrey Ahladis of Wilmington, NC, and 4 grandchildren, Drew, Haley, Madison and Ian.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Fox, on May 6, 2016.

Private family services will be held at McFarland & Son Funeral Home with inurnment in Marysville, Ohio to follow. Per families request there will be no visitation.

Her family suggests Gwen be honored by donations to American Heart Association, 840 Southwestern Run, Youngstown, OH 44514.
