Grace "Nonnie" Lee

WARREN - Grace "Nonnie" E. Lee , 71, formerly of Turlock, CA, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center after a long illness. She was born on June 4, 1942 in Merced, California, the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Moore) Lee.

Grace was employed by Samaritan Village as a Nursing Assistant before retiring. She enjoyed doing crafts, home decorating, art, sewing, and cooking.

Grace had a huge heart, she loved her family and friends. Everyday she showed her love for us by the things she said and did. She was a kind soul who always went above and beyond for her family. She was a tough warrior and fighter. She fought her health problems since the '80's to love, help, and protect her family. She was never selfish, loved to give, and be there for her family. She is at peace with Our Lord and family in Heaven. She is with her Mother, whom she dearly missed. We know she will watch over us and be in our hearts. Until we meet again our beloved Mom, Nonnie, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend!

Memories of Grace will be carried on by her two daughters, Annette (Steve) Bick of Waterford, CA, Jennifer Lee of Ravenna; grandchildren, Greggory Bick, Jessica (Jonathan Waggoner, Jr.) Baldonado, Jeremy Lee Jones; brother, Neley (Joanne) Ellison of Los Banos, CA; sister, Norma (Eddie) James of Santecca, CA; plus many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Vernon Ellison.

There will be no local services and cremation has taken place. Final resting place will be in Turlock, California with her parents.
