Glenna Rose Brady, 91, of Warren, died peacefully Friday, August 13, 2010 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born December 27, 1918 in Alliance, the daughter of Floyd and Marie (Snyder) Jackson, and had lived in Trumbull County most of her life.
A 1936 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Mrs. Brady's interest and talent in music led her to the Dana School of Music, where she studied pipe organ. Later, she accompanied the Kent Concert Choir and was active in KSU musical theatre and TNT theatre. A member of Central Christian Church, she had directed the church's handbell choir and children's choir. She also was active with Warren Music Club, Church Women United, the Fifty-Plus Club, was past-president of the Trumbull County Genealogical Society, and a member of Morning Light Chapter #80, Order of the Eastern Star. Most recently, she and Les really missed monthly Eighty-Plus luncheons.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Harry Lester "Les" Brady, whom she married June 17, 1939; four children: Susan Brady (David) Faulkner of Carbondale, Colorado, Tamara Brady (Alec) Pendleton of Shaker Heights, Glenn Lester (Fayth) Brady of Huffman, Tex., and Philip P. (Rhonda) Brady of Orange, Tex.; nine grandchildren: Leslie Neal, Cameron Green, Jamie Kopacz, Samantha Pendleton, Allie Bigelow, and Sean, Jeremy, Joshua, and Rachel Brady; fourteen great-grandchildren: Junell, T.J., Abby, Molly, Ashley, Zach, Isabelle, Lia, Bronwyn, Zachary, Owen, Heavenly, Logan, and Cheyenne; a sister, Dolores Dorene (Jackson) Myers of Warren; and a brother, Darl Percy (Gloria) Jackson of Warren. Her parents precede her in death.
Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with her pastor, Dr. Darrell C. Filler, officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
