Geraldine Ward

Geraldine A. Ward, 93, of Warren, OH died Friday, September 12, 2003 at Park Vista Nursing Home in Youngstown, OH.

Miss Ward was born on Sunday, January 9, 1910, in Denver, CO to the late Arby J. and Nettie (Wolcott) Ward.
She attended St. John's Business school and in 1929 she attended Western Reserve Nursing School.

Geraldine worked for Van Huffel Tube retiring in 1975 after 30 years as an accounting clerk.

Geraldine was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 75 years.

She is survived by a Great Niece, Nancy Wares of Olmstead Falls, OH. 2 Great Nephews; Robert Cross of Rocky River, OH and William Cross of Beachwood, OH. 3 Great Great Nieces, Jamie Cross and Rachel Cross, both of Beachwood, OH and Beth Bacon of Strongsville, OH and 3 Great Great Nephews, Darren Cross of Beachwood, OH, Bryan Cross of Rocky River, OH and Jim Wares of Boston, MA.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, a niece and a nephew.

Service will be held at the graveside in Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. David Black officiating.
