Geraldine M. Hoskins

Geraldine May "Gerry" Hoskins, 67, of Champion, died Thursday , October 29, 2009 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. She was born March 16, 1942 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of John and Virginia (Hudgins) Waters, moving here in 1960 from Hampton, Virginia.

Mrs. Hoskins retired from Packard Electric in 1996. Her hobbies included crafts, puzzles and snowmobiling.

Surviving are her husband Harry, of Champion, whom she married June 11, 1960; a daughter, Theresa (Gene) White of Binghamton, New York; two sons, Garry (Carrie) Hoskins of Atwater and Jeffrey (Samantha) Hoskins of Champion; five grandchildren: Heather White, Garry Hoskins, Erica Hoskins, Zachery Hoskins and Jeffrey Follmeyer; and a sister, Jean (William) Glenn of Hampton, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Bethany Marie White; and three brothers: Lawrence Waters, Richard Waters and Thomas Howell.

A service of celebration will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2009 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Mark Latimer officiating. Friends may call from
