George David Six of Niles, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 8:21 p.m. in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 67.
Mr. Six was born in Hundred, WV on May 3, 1949, the son of the late George L. and Hattie M. Henderson Six.
He was a graduate of Howland High School. Following high school George attended Youngstown State University.
George retired after many years from US Steel McDonald Division where he held various jobs over his career there.
Mr. Six was of Baptist faith. He was a former member of the Niles Lodge #627 Loyal Order of the Moose. George was a kind and generous man. He cherished time sitting around the kitchen table with family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards. George had a talent for sales, that helped him throughout his life in various jobs.
He is survived by his wife, Drew Dee Scaggs Six, whom he married August 1, 1969; 3 daughters, Angelique Kathleena Cottrill, Shawntel Crystal Six (Michael Shank), and Ashley Nicole Six (James Herdman) all of Niles; a sister Zula Rose “Sis” Henderson (Wayne) of Burton, WV; 6 grandchildren, Tylor, Dakota, Hattie, Makayla, Patrick, George.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Leslie and Jerry Six; a son in law Phillip Cottrill.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Internment will take place at the Carpenter Cemetery in Burton, WV on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
