George J. Ondo

George J. Ondo, 91, of Warren, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born October 19, 1915 in West Virginia, and lived for a time in Slovakia before moving to Warren.

Mr. Ondo worked as a fabricator for Thomas Steel Strip Corp. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Pacific theatre.

Surviving are his niece, Magdalena Maslanova; and two grand-nephews, Michael and Martin Maslan. Preceding him in death are his parents and his wife, Agnes Mae (Postosky) Ondo.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Oaks of First United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
