George T. Minder

George T. Minder, 85, of Warren, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the emergency room of Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born March 24, 1925 in Empire, Ohio, the son of George and Helen (Ferguson) Minder, and had lived in Trumbull County most of his life.

A crane operator at Van Huffel Tube, Mr. Minder had been a member of the Warren Moose Lodge and enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are three stepchildren: Paul (Beverly) Thomas, Thelma Grimmet, and Brenda Straley, all of Warren; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gerald (Marceline) Minder of Calcutta, Ohio. Preceding him in death are his parents and his wife, Ora Lee (Grimm) Thomas Minder, whom he married October 14, 1948 and who died July 29, 1993.

Friends may call 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Crown Hill Burial Park.
