George H. Behrens

George H. Behrens, 91, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2012. He was born June 26, 1921 in Weathersfield Twp., OH, the son of Carl and Josephine (Marsh) Behrens.

George was employed as a salesman for King Furniture for over 50 years. He enjoyed woodworking and was a Sergeant with the US Army during WWII.

Surviving are his daughter; Bonnie J. (Lewis) Tandy of Akron, NY; a son, Tom A. (Vicky) Behrens of Warren, and 4 grandchildren: George A. and Anthony L. (Jenny) Behrens, and Lauren M. and Aaron D. Tandy, and 2 great-grandchildren: Haylee and Brayla Behrens. Preceding him in death on March 24, 2007, was his beloved wife, the former Eileen L. Mills, whom he married Dec. 20, 1941.
