Gary Lee Wilson of Cortland, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 12:35 a.m. in his residence. He was 47.
Mr. Wilson was born on September 17, 1968 in Warren, the son of the late Rose Wilson.
He was a 1987 graduate of Lakeview High School. Following high school, Gary was employed in numerous professions. He worked for B & K Farmers Market as a manager, a foreman for Bazetta Tree Services, and most recently he was self-employed in the transportation industry assisting the Amish to and from their destinations.
Gary loved sports especially playing golf and basketball. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He enjoyed spending time outside with nature. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Wilson, whom he married July 25, 2003; 3 daughters, Elayne Hall of Georgia, Elizabeth Winkleman of Ohio, and Erin Wilson of Texas; 2 step daughters, Jamie Fusco of Ohio and Jessica Edwards of Ohio; a step son, Anthony Fusco of Ohio; 4 grandchildren, AJ, Briana, Dempsey, and Elijah. He is also survived by a longtime friend, Kassandra Gray of Texas.
In addition to his mother, Gary was preceded in death by his grandmother who raised him, Helen Wilson; a special aunt and uncle, Laura and Butch;
