Gary R. Howard

Gary R. Howard, 54, of Warren, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at home. The Trumbull County coroner is investigating the cause of death. He was born November 7, 1956 in Ravenna, the son of Russell W. and Ina L. (Brown) Howard, and had lived in Ohio and West Virginia all his life.

Mr. Howard attended Southington High School and worked as the used parts manager for Union Auto Parts. He enjoyed watching old war movies, collecting guns, and his trips to Hawaii, Cancun, and Las Vegas.

Surviving are his parents of Warren; three children: Naomi L. (Kevin) Findley of Warren, Joshua J. Howard of Leavittsburg, and Avfton R. (William) List of Warren; seven grandchildren: Shawn and Connor Findley, Kaylee, William, and Matthew List, and Adam and McKensie Harvey; a sister, Glynda (Larry) Morgan of Warren; two brothers: Roger (Patricia) Howard of Newton Falls, and Rusty (Janet) Howard of Warren; and his companion, LuAnne Bevan of Warren. Preceding him in death are his wife, Denise (Ball) Howard; and a stepdaughter, Alana Ball.

Calling hours are 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with a brief service at the conclusion of the calling hours.
