Frank Edward Naples

CORTLAND - Frank Edward Naples, 56, passed away early July 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. He was born in Youngstown on April 6, 1958 to Patsy J. and Congetina Naples.

Frank was a graduate of Champion High School. He worked a wide variety of jobs including restaurant manager, carpet cleaner and painting apprentice. He also worked as a load limit inspector and license examiner for the state. He was a member of the Church At Warren, where he participated in ministry with his family, activities within the church and in outreach ministries, primarily in area nursing homes. Frank first and foremost loved His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He celebrated 25 years with his wife the former Patricia Darlene Smeltzer. Frank loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on long drives and playing games, his favorite being Monopoly.

Memories of Frank will be carried on by his mother, Connie Naples of Newton Falls; his wife, Patricia of Cortland; his four children, Tiffany, Timothy, Jedediah and Jeffrey Naples, all of Cortland; his brother, Patsy (Cathy) Naples of Champion; his sisters, Florence (George) Paisley of Newton Falls, Antoinette Naples of Howland, Victoria Gouvas of Cortland plus many other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Patsy J. Naples.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. Graveside service will be on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna with Pastor Charles Swartz officiating.
