Frances Ann Gregory, 68, of Warren, died Monday, July 18, 2005 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born November 16, 1936 in Beckley, W. Va., the daughter of the late Julia James, and has been a resident in Warren , Ohio since 1994.

Mrs. Gregory (called Ann by family and friends) attended school in Beckley, West Virginia. She was employed 18 ½ years at Dillen Products in Middlefield, Ohio.
Ann had an outgoing personality; she was full of life and believed in living one day at a time. She was a great encourager and always expressed how proud she was of her children's and nieces' accomplishments. She enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends and her laughter added a special cheerfulness to our lives. Ann was always concerned about the welfare of others and would travel miles to visit the sick. She was a very generous person and would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Ann was very positive and optimistic about the future.

Her favorite pastimes were cooking, sewing, gardening, decorating, traveling, cook-outs and visiting family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping at flea markets and consignment shops. Ann was a lover of country living, plants and animals. She was a collector of knickknacks and rare items.

Ann was a loving mother and dedicated wife (affectionately referred to by her husband as Baby Doll)

Surviving Mrs. Gregory are her husband, Leon H. Gregory, whom she married October 13, 1962; two children, Joan (Donald) Palmer of Salem and Randy Raines of Cleveland; three stepchildren: Michael E. Gregory of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Leona Gregory of Evansville, Ind., and Lynn E. Gregory of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother; two sisters; several grandchildren, daughter-in-law (Stacey Gregory) great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of relatives and loving friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents; one sister; two brothers; and a grandson, Demarkus Lee Gregory.
