Forrest H. Dunsmoor

Forrest H. Dunsmoor, Sr., 99, of Warren, died 9:15 PM Friday, January 9, 2004 at Community Skilled Nursing Centre in Warren.

He was born September 13, 1904 in Belpre, Ohio, the son of the late John Harvey and Susan E. Basim Dunsmoor. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a security officer for Burns Detective Agency. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, was a rock collector and a member of the East Ohio Lapidary Club.

Surviving Mr. Dunsmoor are three sons: Forrest H. (Patricia) Dunsmoor II of Brunswick, Russell K. (Suzanne) Dunsmoor of Braceville, and William E. (Lois) Dunsmoor of Warren; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Bessie Cobb of Leavittsburg.

Preceding Mr. Dunsmoor in death are his parents; his wife, Lois Russell Dunsmoor, whom he married June, 1944 and who died March, 1989; a brother, Carlyle Dunsmoor; and a sister, Audrey Reeves.

A memorial service for Mr. Dunsmoor will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481.
