Fannie B. Rebhan, 96, of Warren, died Monday, February 1, 2010 at home. She was born April 20, 1913 in Greene Township, the daughter of Elmer and Anna (Wildman) Barber, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.
A graduate of Greene High School, Mrs. Rebhan worked at Ohio Lamp Works, and later worked as an assistant physical therapist at Hillside Hospital. She also worked in the office at Warren Fabricating. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Warren Women's Club, and the Welsh Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Volk of Warren, with whom she made her home; three grandchildren: Eric (Monica Laskey) Rebhan of Vienna, Regina (Michael Pontikos) Rebhan of Howland, and Aaron Volk of Warren; six great-grandchildren: Gabriella and Alexa Rebhan, Taylor, Alec, and Bailey Pontikos, and John Volk; and a sister, Pearl Wysenski. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, John C. Rebhan, whom she married March 12, 1940 and who died October 31, 1966; a son, John C. Rebhan II; a grandson, Jeffrey Rebhan; and a sister, Martha Blair.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
