Faith Lee Day, of Niles, Ohio, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. She passed away
at her residence after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side.
She was 68 years old. Faith was born a daughter of the late Harry Frank Asbury Day Jr. and
Mable Chris Shaw Day Kapuchuck on October 17, 1955, in Warren, Ohio. She was a 1973
graduate of Howland High School. Faith was a proud domestic engineer who was a nurse’s aid
and went on to work as a headliner, assembler at Comprehensive Logistics, retiring at 62. She
was of the Christian faith. She loved to cook, bake, crochet, sew, dance, sing, play card games,
camp, shop, and enjoy the outdoors.
Her memories will be remembered and celebrated by those she leaves behind her children
Cristina Lee Croal of Austintown, Jose Antonio Croal Jr. of Warren, Maria Lynn Croal of
Cortland, Adriana Marie Croal of Youngstown, Jolanda Ann Croal of Youngstown and Victoria
Etta-Mae Croal of Niles; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Harry Frank
Asbury Day III of Vienna, Clarence Leroy Day of Howland, Steve Kapuchuck of Niles, Gene
Kapuchuck of Nebraska, Frank Asbury Day of Vermillion, and Mark Day of Elyria; sisters Christy
Sue Wilson of Howland and Penny Jo Day of McDonald. She was preceded in death by her
parents, grandparents Clarence Leroy Shaw and Ethel Vivian Shaw, and two grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Wm Nicholas Funeral
Home, 614 Warren Ave., Niles, OH 44446, from 10:00am-11:00am. A funeral service will follow
calling hours at 11:00am.
