Died at 8:35 PM, on Monday, June 13, 2005 at Community Skilled Nursing Centre in Warren, OH
She was born on Friday, August 28, 1908, in Cleveland OH the daughter of Arthur and Mary Elizabeth (Teasley) Frost, and formerly lived in Anderson, IN.

She was the wife of Carl Habel whom she married August 29, 1931 who preceded her in death on October 10, 1990. Mrs. Habel is survived by her son Thomas C. (Sunny) Habel of Johnson Twp., OH, four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, One sister Eleanor Johnson of Shelby Twp. MI, and three brothers, Louis Frost, of Laguna Hills, CA, Harry Frost of Ocala FL. and Newell Frost, of Sarasota FL. she was preceded in death by sister Mary Tinsley and brother Byron Frost.

She was a member of the the First United Methodist Church where she served on the Official Board, sang in the church choir and was active in the women's organizations of the church, she was an affiliate member of the Oceanview United Methodist Church in Juno, FL. She attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN and delivered Mobile Meals.

Mrs. Hazel was a former member of the Trumbull Country Club and Turtle Creek Country Club in Tequesta, FL. She was a Past President of the YWCA Mother's Club and member of the League of Women's Voters and the Junior Chamber of Commerce Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 AM at The McFarland and Son Funeral Home. Family will greet friends on Thursday, June 16 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Rev. Eru Urschitz will officiate Internment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, in Cortland, OH
