Eudora E. Votaw, 97, of Warren, died Wednesday, February 07, 2007 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born February 3, 1910 in East Palestine, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Kachner) McCullough, and had lived in Warren since 1938.
Mrs. Votaw was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the fellowship group of the church. She enjoyed making crafts. She had worked for 23 years at the McCardell-White Funeral Home.
Surviving are her daughter, Joan Roper of Cortland; ten grandchildren: Terry (Marsha) Roper, Nancy Miller, Linda (William) Rutledge, Jeffrey, David, Ernie (Londa) Jesse (Katrina), and William (Erin) Votaw, Deborah (Jeff) Bushberg, and Rebecca (Gary) Ignatownicz; 25 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Jesse C. Votaw, whom she married February 17, 1928 and who died December 20, 1968; four sons: Clarence "Butch", David, William, and Ernie Votaw; one daughter, Romona Votaw; three brothers; and two sisters.
Services are 11:00 AM Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, with Rev. Robert M. White officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Material contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 140 Cherry N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485.
