Ethan A. Swift, 30, of Warren, died February 29, 2004 at home.
He was born July 3, 1973 in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of Judge Thomas A. Swift and Charlene Bartholomew Patterson.
Ethan was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and Hiram College, where he was a member and past-president of Phi Gamma Epsilon Fraternity. He was employed by the Cadle Company in Newton Falls as an account specialist. He was owner and president of Swift Enterprises. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, cars and music.
Surviving Ethan are his father of Vienna and his mother of Calabash, North Carolina; his brother, Bryan T. Swift of Columbus; his sister, Heather C. Swift of Ithaca, NY; one niece and four nephews: Meredith and Emery Lawhead, and triplets Tommy, Teddy and Sammy Swift. Ethan will also be missed by many friends whom he considered his family.
Services for Ethan will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with The Rev. Fr. Robert M. Lindberg officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday. Friends may also call at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481 on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will be at Niles Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to the Ethan A. Swift Legacy Scholarship Fund, c/o Second National Bank, 108 Main Ave. S.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.
