Ernest J. Wiseman

Ernest J. Wiseman, 76, of Leavittsburg, died 9:53 AM Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Health in Warren. He was born Monday, September 24, 1928, in Marlinton, W. Va., the son of the late Lacie and Lena Lameraeux Wiseman.

Mr. Wiseman retired from Copperweld Steel as an inspector after 36 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, and hunting.

Surviving Mr. Wiseman are his wife, Varina Stottlemire Wiseman, whom he married February 17, 1949; five children: Betty (James) Clover of Leavittsburg, Harry Wiseman of Warren, Anna (Terry) Lawrence of Middleburg, Fla., Robert (Roni) Wiseman of Leavittsburg, and Rose (Jeffrey) Glunt of Jacksonville, Fla.; 16 grandchildren: 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lacie Wiseman, Jr., of Warren and Robert Wiseman; and a sister, Edna Cooley.

Preceding Mr. Wiseman in death are his parents; two children: Mary Hart and Ernest Wiseman, Jr.; two brothers: Orville and Roy Wiseman; and a sister, Mary Rose Wiseman.

Services for Mr. Wiseman will be 2:00 PM Monday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. James Holbrook of Warren Revival Center officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Leavittsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday and 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday.
