Elvira E. Hoffee

Elvira E. "Pud" Hoffee, 87, died 10:20 AM Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Community Skilled Nursing Centre in Warren. She was born Saturday, September 1, 1917, in Massillon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter and Edna Pahlau Siber.

Mrs. Hoffee was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and had bowled with the Friday Niters League at Rainbow Lanes for many years.

Surviving Mrs. Hoffee are her daughter, Shirley (Lyle, Jr.) Gardner of Southington; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a step-sister, Marilyn Warrick of Canton, Ohio.

Preceding Mrs. Hoffee in death are her parents; her husband, B. Serge Hoffee, whom she married September 1, 1934 and who died October 29, 1972; and two step-brothers.

Services for Mrs. Hoffee will be 10:30 AM Monday, February 7, 2005 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Steven Ritter of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Monday.
