Eleanore P. Grubbs

Eleanore P. Grubbs of Niles, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 3:09 p.m. in Shepherd of the Valley Assisted Living with her family by her side. She was 94.
She was born on March 27, 1921 in Niles, the daughter of Nick Chuirazzi and Antonetta Pillo.
Mrs. Grubs was a 1939 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.
Prior to her marriage to Paul, Eleanore was employed as a bookkeeper for various businesses throughout Niles, Skiffey's Realty, Stanley Works, and Bobby Rachella.
Eleanore was of Catholic faith. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, camping and traveling on various train trips with her family.
Her first husband, John Walters, whom she married April 29, 1950, passed away on October 22, 1956. Eleanore's second husband Paul R. Grubbs, whom she married February 5, 1972, passed away on April 28, 2009.
She is survived by a son John Walters and his wife Jane of Howland; 3 brothers, Louis Chuirazzi of Niles, Carl Chuirazzi and his wife Anette of Poland, and Nick "Gigs" Chuirazzi of Vienna, OH.
In addition to her parents and 2 husbands, Eleanore was preceded in death by a son David Walters; a sister, Mary Salapata; 2 brothers, John and Joseph Chuirazzi.
