Eleanor L. Wells

AKRON - Eleanor L. Wells, 75, formerly of Warren, passed peacefully away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at her residence. She was born on October 17, 1939 in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Leonard and Vera Sprankle.

Eleanor was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School. She was a homemaker known for her kind heart and words of wisdom. She loved spending time with her family, reading, putting puzzles together and doing crossword puzzles.

Memories of Eleanor will be carried on by daughter, Deborah (Jonathan) Waggoner of Akron, with whom she made her home; daughter, Linda (Roger) Benniger of Georgetown, SC; son, Jeff (Roberta) Wells of Champion; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laura "Sissy" J. Wells; and son, James Wells.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Jonathan Waggoner providing her eulogy.
