Edward Nolan, 69 of Warren, Ohio passed away December 31, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born August 18, 1943 in Knoxville, TN to the late JD Nolan and Mary (Moore) Nolan.

He worked as a mechanic for Miller's Taxi. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars.

Edward is survived by daughter, Shirley (Ray) Chambers of Cleveland; son, William James Nolan of Warren; brothers, Fred Nolan of Cambridge, OH, Bill Nolan of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Dorothy Burdick and Amelia Hastings, both of Cleveland, Joyce Ann Blevins-Perez of Dennison, OH, Norma Short of Noble Co., OH; grandsons, Eddie, Brandon and Ray Lydon, all of Warren; granddaughters, Stella Lydon of Warren, Sarah Chambers of Akron, Mary Nolan of Cleveland; great-grandson, Rowan Chambers of Akron; great-granddaughters, Aislyn Chambers of Akron and Leigha Swegan of Warren, plus several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Shirley Walz, who passed away January 15, 2000; son, Eddie Duane Nolan; brother, Jim Nolan and sister, Linda Fay Nolan.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 3:30 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Calling hours are on January 7, 2013 from 2:30 to 3:30pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 N. Park Ave, Warren, OH.
