Edna W. Gardner, 86, of Warren, died Friday, September 22, 2006 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre. She was born April 24, 1920 in Fort Morgan, Colo., the daughter of George and Mabel Leibsack Walker.

Mrs. Gardner retired in 1980 from the production department at Packard Electric after 30 years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafts, bowling, golf, and sewing.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Jane Hake of Warren; two grandchildren: Lisa (Michael) Starkey and Charles Hake, both of Warren; and two great-grandchildren: Rachel Mae Hake and Maelin Alexis Starkey. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Lyle H. Gardner, Sr., whom she married in 1954 and who died September 28, 2001; a sister, Sadie Sill; and three brothers: John, Edward, and Raymond Walker.

Services will be 1:30 PM Monday, September 25, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Kelly Faulstich of Emmanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment at Pineview Memorial Park will follow. Friends may call 12:30 to 1:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
