Edith L. Fancher

Edith L. Fancher, 87, of Warren, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born December 13, 1922 in Warren, the daughter of Donato and Rose Campana, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.

A homemaker, Mrs. Fancher enjoyed puzzles, bingo, collecting dolls, playing the lottery, and making crafts while in the nursing home. She also took part in activities at SCOPE.

Surviving are a son, James T. (Marilyn) Fancher, Jr. of Madison, Ind.; a daughter, Velta J. Fancher of Warren; a step-granddaughter, Carly; and three brothers: Joseph, Daniel, and Robert Campana. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, James T. Fancher, Sr., a sister, Mary Natale; and two brothers, Alfred and Ray Campana.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 noon Thursday, September 2, 2010 at St. Mary's Cemetery, with Fr. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery will follow.
