Edgar F. Leasure, 85, of West Farmington, died 1:57 PM Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born October 16, 1920 in Connellsville, Pa., the son of Chester and Ethel Crise Leasure, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1946.

Mr. Leasure was a graduate of Connellsville High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a pipefitter for Packard Electric and retired in 1984. He was a member of the Western Reserve Lodge #507, F. & A.M. and Ali Baba Grotto. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, carpentry, arts and crafts, stained glass, and had designed and built his own home.

Surviving are his wife, Eldeen F. Resh Leasure, whom he married August 19, 1968; four children: Paige (Chip) Green of Fremont, Calif., Scott (Patricia) Mostoller of Lakeland, Fla., Marc (Char-Lea) Mostoller of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Robin (Kevin) Larson of Kent, Ohio; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, George (Dorothy) Leasure of Pennsylvania, and Ernest "Pete" Leasure of Chester, W. Va. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Chester Leasure.

Services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Matthew M. Thomas of First Baptist Church of Warren officiating. Friends may call 4:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 3:45 PM at the funeral home. Full military honors will be presented at the funeral home following the service.
