Earnest E. Heatherly

Earnest Heatherly, 78, of Braceville, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born July 23, 1930 in Warren, the son of Omar and Vada (Lane) Heatherly, and had lived in Trumbull County most of his life.

On August 14, 1949, Mr. Heatherly married Ruby Wilfong of Buckhannon, W. Va., and together they shared nearly sixty years of marriage. He retired from Copperweld Steel after 35 years of employment, and in his spare time loved to work on cars. A volunteer with the Braceville Fire Department for over 20 years, he also was a great supporter of St. Labre charity.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Heatherly; two daughters, Connie (Chuck) Hull of Burghill and Bonnie (Bill) Oller of Warren; five grandchildren: Gary (Rhonda) Hull, Holly (David) Church, William Jr. (Christina), Nicole, and Christina Oller; 13 great-grandchildren: Nicholas Hull Bucci, Hunter Hull, Ashley Gadd, Blaine and Cody Washington, Zachary, Sarah, Laura, and Matthew Church, Taylor, Allyson, Kenneth, and Gavin Oller; two sisters, Jean Corsale of Girard and Louise Marsh of New Middletown; and a brother, Richard Heatherly of Buckhannon, W. Va. His parents precede him in death.
