Dorothy Bright Robison

Dorothy Bright Robison, 81 of Howland Township, entered into eternal rest on Monday September 20, 2010 at her residence.

Dorothy was born July 18, 1929 in Lordstown, the daughter of the late Milo and Margaret Cowden Bright.

Dorothy was a devoted mother who raised her children as a single parent after an early death of her husband. She was a graduate of Lordstown High School. Dorothy retired in 1984 after 35 years as a press operator from Packard Electric. Among many talents she enjoyed bingo, bowling, embroidering and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her 4 daughters, Robin (Larry) Koval, Terrie (Edward) Pettenati, Linda Stottlemire all of Howland, and Tracey (Ken) Metz of Lordstown; sister, Joyce (Gary) McQuaid of Naples, FL; 4 granddaughters, Kelly (Bill) Fowler, Alisha (Ben) Williams, Rachael Stottlemire, Rashel Stottlemire; 6 grandsons, Mark Koval, Alexander Koval, Randy Stottlemire, Edward Pettenati, Dustin Pettenati, Allan Metz; 6 great-grandchildren, Will Fowler, Alexander Williams, Samuel Williams, Paxton Winters, Hunter Flannery, Zachary Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Buck" Robison whom she married September 13, 1954 and died November 30, 1976; and two brothers Robert and Kenneth Bright.

Services will be held at The McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Calling hours are 5-8 PM, Wednesday, and one hour prior to the service at The McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren, OH. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
