Dorothy H. Pringle, 80, of Champion, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Windsor House of Champion. She was born November 20, 1926 in Warren, the daughter of Glenn and Martha (Pender) Moody, and had lived in the Warren area her entire life.
Mrs. Pringle was a 1944 graduate of Champion High School. She enjoyed woodworking, painting, and her fishing trips to Canada, where she could outfish everyone else. She was also famous for her peanut butter fudge.
Surviving are her husband, Richard H. Pringle, whom she married July 10, 1948; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark L. and Brenda L. Pringle of Girard; and her grandson Scot Pringle. Preceding her in death are her parents, a brother, and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Champion Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Paul Gaug officiating. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home.
