WARREN, OH - Dorothy M. Norton passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. She was born on April 15, 1919 in Reynoldsville, PA to the late Wayne and Estella (Schultz) O'Donnel.

Dorothy married Raymond Norton on July 2, 1942. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family including the grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society's.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Thomas F. (Nancy) Norton of Warren, Richard R. (Patricia) Norton of Scottsdale, AZ, John C. (Deborah) Norton of Cincinnati, Patrick J. (Cathy) Norton of Scottsdale, AZ, Mary Kay Ridenour of Hunker, PA, Michael J. (Diane) Norton of Cortland, and Barbara J. (Christophe) Gietz of Sylvania, OH; twelve -grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, James O'Donnel of Houston, TX and Richard (Carol Ann) O'Donnel of Cincinnati. Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Raymond; daughter, Elizabeth A. Norton; brothers, Wayne O'Donnel, Jr., William O'Donnel and sister, Nancy O'Donnell.

Family and friends may call 8:00 to 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. A funeral mass will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wednesday at 10 am, with Father Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
