Dorothy J. Minton

HOWLAND - Dorothy J. Fenton-Minton, 95, died on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. She was born in Cleveland on April 29, 1920, the daughter of late Burt and Marguerita (Harlow) Fenton.

Dorothy worked in several offices throughout her career in the Cleveland and Warren areas as a data entry operator finishing her career with Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a key punch operator. Dorothy was a member of Central Christian Church and the Woman's Ministry. She also enjoyed reading, working on jig saw and crossword puzzles, and being with family and friends.

Surviving her is her son, Mark Minton of Warren; grandsons, Keith J. Minton of Cleveland, Eric R. Minton of Columbus, and nephew, John Fenton of Mississippi.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Joseph, whom she married October 14, 1944 and died on September 3, 1993, brothers, David and John Fenton; sisters, Ruth and Helen Fenton.

Friends are invited for her funeral service on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren, with calling hours one hour prior to the service. Final committal to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren with Rev.Ty Sabella officiating.
