Dorothy L. Fulmer

Dorothy L. Fulmer, 94, formerly of Warren, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center at Copeland Oaks in Sebring. She was born November 5, 1916 in Ashland, Ohio, the daughter of Ed and Sadie (Kohler) Boyer, and was a lifelong Ohio resident.

A graduate of Ashland High School, Mrs. Fulmer was an active member of Damascus United Methodist Church and its Ladies Circle work. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and reading.

Surviving are two children: Larry E. (Garnett) Fulmer of Mansfield, and Joyce (John) Albrecht of Austintown; four grandchildren: Keith (Jennifer) and Kurt (Debi) Fulmer, Steve Hill, and Debbie Cardwell; and five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are; her husband, Rev. Weldon E. Fulmer, whom she married June 26, 1938 and who died September 30, 1985, and with whom she shared marriage and ministry through several United Methodist churches; an infant son, two sisters: Marie Ruhlman and Gladys Holmes; and a brother, Harold Boyer.

Friends may call at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Ave. Warren, OH. Wednesday 4 PM - 7 PM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow the calling hours with Pastor Bob Amey officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM in Vienna Township Cemetery.
