Doris Williams

Doris Elaine Williams, 80 of Hogan Lane passed away February 7, 2005 at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 22, 1924 in Massillon, OH the daughter of John and Ruth Kerr Smith.

A 1942 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Doris attended Miami University in Oxford, OH. She served as president of G.N. Williams Trucking Co. from 1969 till her retirement in 1984.

She married William C. Williams on January 22, 1949 and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1970.

Doris enjoyed traveling and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son Charles (Diane) Williams of Howland and daughter Cynthia Williams of Howland, OH. Granddaughters Amie Williams of Northport, Alabama. Alexa and Taylor Williams of Howland, OH and a sister Noreen Klippel of Howland, OH.

Visitation will be at THE MCFARLAND & SON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, February 9 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at MCFARLAND & SON FUNERAL HOME where friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Rick Oaks from First United Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park, in Vienna, OH following the service.
