Dora F. Wyndham

Dora F. Wyndham, 87, of Warren, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Windsor House of Champion. She was born July 22, 1922 in Warren, the daughter of Charles and Essie (Willis) Fritz, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.

A member of Second Christian Church, Mrs. Wyndham had been an elder and a deacon, president of the Women's Fellowship, and sang in the church choir. She attended numerous conventions of the Disciples of Christ, including the world convention in Hawaii in 1980.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, she also attended Warren Business College. She worked for ten years in the payroll department of Thomas Strip Steel, and 24 years in the Warren City Income Tax Department.

She was past president of the Trumbull County Women's Republican Club, a member of Warren Civic Music Association, and enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph L.Wyndham, whom she married May 1, 1943; two sons, Jeffrey L. (Susan) Wyndham of Madison and Richard L. (Becky) Wyndham of Warren; and four grandchildren: Edward and Cassie Parker, and Richard J. and Peter W. (Ariana) Wyndham. Her parents precede her in death.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Second Christian Church, 904 W. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Gene Eason officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Material contributions may be made to the Trumbull County Relay for Life, c/o the American Cancer Society, 525 N.
