Donna Jean Furbee

Donna Jean Furbee, 57, of Warren, died 12:45 PM Friday, February 10, 2006 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born March 26, 1948 in Kittanning, Pa., the daughter of George and Vera Allen Myers, and had lived in the Warren area all her life.

Donna retired in 2002 from Hillside Hospital, where she had worked as a housekeeper for 25 years. She was a member of Leavittsburg Church of God and enjoyed cross-stitching, pottery, ceramics, summer cook-outs, playing volleyball and badminton, and most of all, her family.

She will be sadly missed by her three children: Sherri (Thomas) Yoder of Nelson Twp., Albert (Christine) Furbee, Jr. of Warren, and Kelly (Wayne) Stefanic of Windham; four grandchildren: Sam and Leroy White, and Isaac and Rebekah Stefanic; four great-grandchildren: Salisa and Vincent Walker, and Benjamin and Jonathan White; and three sisters: Betty Fridley of Girard, Lauretta Miller of Warren, and Karen Oliver of Niles. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Albert Furbee, Sr., whom she married May 7, 1965 and who died February 20, 1998; and a brother, Robert Myers.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Byron Powers of Leavittsburg Church of God officiating. Entombment at Crown Hill Burial Park will follow. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to Leavittsburg Church of God, 610 South Leavitt Rd.
