Donald W. Wiseman

Donald W. Wiseman, Sr., 68, of Warren, died 5:15 AM Monday, January 9, 2006 at home. He was born May 28, 1937 in Beckley, W.Va., the son of Don and Daisy Cawley Wiseman, and had lived in the Warren area for over 50 years.

Don had worked as a punchpress operator for Lakeland Manufacturing. He was a member of Harvest Christian Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing horseshoes.

Don will be sadly missed by his wife, Dora Fox Wiseman, whom he married November 14, 1982; two children, Donald W. Wiseman, Jr. of Tampa, Fla. and Tammy (Dean) Gmucs of Warren; two stepdaughters, Denise Thorne of Warren and Penny (Bacil) Rogers of Warren; three stepsons: Wayne Thorne of Warren, Dwayne (Brenda) Thorne of Warren, and Daniel (Brenda) Thorne of Niles; 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Delmar (Donna) and Scott (Lynette) Wiseman.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a son, Danny Wiseman.

Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald E. Biehl of Harvest Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Leavittsburg. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to Harvest Christian Church, 8798 E.
