Donald D. Wells

Donald D. Wells, 93 of Warren, OH. died Monday, December 20, 2010 in Cortland Health Center. He was born March 31, 1917 in West Farmington, the son of Alan and Irma (Wert) Wells.

Mr. Wells graduated from Warren G. Harding in 1935. He retired as Assistant Secretary for the Union Savings & Trust Co. He participated in many community organizations and was respected in his profession. Before banking Don was employed as a sales manager for the Coca Cola bottling Co.. He was an active member of Warren's First Baptist Church and served in many positions. Don enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing, and wintering in Florida with his wife.

Surviving are his wife, the former Wilda Ward whom he married May 29, 1940 and, he has many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Delbert Wells, and his sister Eileen Weitzel.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in Don's memory to the Warren Family Mission, 361 Elm Road, NE, Warren, OH, 44483.
