Donald R. "Jay" Setting, Jr

Donald R. "Jay" Setting Jr. of Mineral Ridge, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 8:59 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Health Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 44.
He was born on October 8, 1971 in Warren, the son of Donald R. Sr. and Brenda Freeman Setting.
Mr. Setting attended Maplewood School District. Jay was employed as a saw operator for Latrobe Specialty Steel in Vienna.
He enjoyed playing darts and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Most of all he cherished the time he spent with family and friends.
Jay is survived by his wife, Mary White Setting, whom he married June 23, 2012; parents, Donald R. and Brenda Setting Sr. of Lakeland, FL; a daughter, Katie Setting Flowers and her husband Hubert of Warren, OH; 2 sons Gage M. Setting of Champion and Donald R. Setting III of Warren; 3 step sons, Todd White of Pensacola, FL, Darren Jordonek and Trevor White both of Mineral Ridge; 2 sisters, Tammy Painter of Lakeland, FL and Penny Setting of Akron, OH; 1 brother Shawn Setting of Warren, OH; 3 grandchildren, Clara Setting, Evan and Syris Flowers.
