Donald K. Hummer

Donald K. Hummer of Niles, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. He was 60.
Mr. Hummer was born on February 13, 1957 in Youngstown, the son of the late Robert and Margaret Ewing Hummer.
Donald was a 1974 graduate of Mathews High School in Vienna. Following high school, Donald attended various classes at a local technical school.
He was employed at the Eastwood Mall, where he worked maintenance throughout the mall but mainly in the food court area. Prior to his employment at the mall, Donald worked at different restaurants in the valley.
Donald was of Methodist Faith. He enjoyed taking walks with his son to Encore Cinemas and Eastwood Field. Mr. Hummer was an avid Star Wars and Star Trek fan. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey Knauff Hummer, whom he married July 30, 2005; a son, Donald R. Hummer, who resides at home; a brother, James (Carol) Hummer of Boardman; Donald is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert Jr, Howard, and Richard Hummer; a sister, Susan Sekerek.
The family would like to thank the hard work and dedication that the Police and Fire Departments showed Donald in his time of need.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m.
Inurnment will take place in Vienna Twp. Cemetery.
