Donald S. Fellows

Donald S. Fellows, 67, of Cortland, died 8:15 PM Monday, April 3, 2006 at Mahoning Valley Hospital in Warren. He was born December 20, 1938 in Lockport, N.Y., the son of Milton Roy Fellows, Sr. and Hazel Kelley Fellows.

Don served in the U.S. Marines and worked as an electrician at Packard Electric, retiring in 2000. He was a member the Warren Men's Bowling League, the Packard Electric Golf League, and a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Warren.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Carol L. Sleigher Fellows, whom he married May 20, 1972; six children: Donald S. Fellows II of Cortland and his fiance Debra Killin, Stephen E. Fellows of Cortland, Elmer L. Smith II of Liberty, John Joseph Smith of Niles and his finace Marsha Crawford, Trenda (Thomas) Johnston of Cortland, and Lucinda (John) Centric of North Lima; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Lois Cox of Ramer, Tenn., and Rosemary (Guido) Del Garbino, Peggy Fellows, and Judy (Jack) Wistar, all of Warren; two brothers, Howard (Ruth) Fellows of Warren and David (Michelle) Fellows of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Viola Fellows of Cortland and Margaret (Dennis) Link of Pennsylvania; two brothers-in-law, John (Carol) Sleigher and Joseph F. Sleigher, both from Pennsylvania. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Milton "Bud" Fellows, Jr.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 7, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. James N. Dittmar III of Warren Baptist Temple officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Burial Park will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and 12:00 to 1:00 PM Friday. Anyone wishing to send food may do so Friday morning to the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, where a meal will be held after the interment.
