Donald R. Eisenbraun

Donald R. Eisenbraun of Warren passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 2:34 p.m. in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 80

Mr. Eisenbraun was born in Struthers, OH on March 18, 1936, the son of the late Ralph H. and Beatrice A. Gosnell Eisenbraun.

Donald was a graduate of Struthers High School.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army.

Mr. Eisenbraun retired in September of 1997 from Packard electric where he was a machinist for 28 years. During this time he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology from Kent State University.

Don was a member of The Brigade of the American Revolution. Don enjoyed racing motorcycles and go-karts. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, delivering Meals on Wheels, and volunteering at the Packard Museum and Mosquito Lake Dog Park.

His wife Lana Dunn Eisenbraun, whom he married March 15, 1958, passed away on July 10, 2009.

He is survived by, 2 sons, Gary (Paulette) Eisenbraun of Southington, Robert Eisenbraun of San Francisco, CA; a daughter, Susan (Steven) Vargo of Champion with whom Donald made his home; a brother, Robert Eisenbraun of State College, PA; a sister, Katherine Morgan of Shadyside, OH; 6 grandchildren;

In addition to his parents and wife, Donald was preceded in death by a brother, James Eisenbraun.

Calling Hours will be on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. in McFarland & Son Funeral Services 271 N. Park Ave. Warren, OH 44481. There will also be calling hours one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Tuesday.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Denise Gunersen, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Champion.

Internment will take place in Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
