Dolly G. Friend

Dolly G. Friend, 88, of Warren, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre. She was born March 27, 1919 in Oakland, Md., the daughter of William J. and Florence (Lewis) Lewis, and lived in Trumbull County most of her life.

Mrs. Friend had worked as a cook and housekeeper at Blessed Sacrament Church, and previously for the Trumbull County home. She enjoyed crochet, crafts, and most of all, her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Williams and Janice Seminara, both of Warren; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Glendean Lewis of Oakland, Md.; and her special friend, Carl Fenstermaker of Warren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her son, John J. Friend; four sisters: Pearl Lewis, Sylvia Rodeheaver, Freda Hizkles, and Carrie Roy; and a brother, Snowden Lewis.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the chapel at Sager Cemetery in Bristolville, with Rev. Shirley Frantz officiating. Interment will follow the service. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home.
